In the last two decades, my career has been in the ICT eco-systems, majorly in the higher education and research institutes, not only teaching and research but also helping institutions to develop their ICT as tools that can enhance their day to day activities for better efficiencies and results,
Currently, I am a full Professor with the department of Computer Engineering Ahmadu Bello university (www.abu.edu.ng ) , where I teach and research. My research focus is computer networks and recently started some works in the area of IT governance and also Internet governance. I also volunteer as the National coordinator of the Nigerian Network Operators group(www.nog.ng ), I have served on the board of AFRINIC (www.afrinic.net ). I serve as a ICT consultant to several HEIs in Nigeria. I am a member of several organisations including the Internet Society (ISOC).
