Fifth GigaNet Annual Symposium - Feedback

Dear GigaNet members,

It was a pleasure to have many of you, including the remote participants, during the Fifth GigaNet Annual Symposium, in Vilnius.

Despite our usual tight schedule, we had good presentations and discussions!

We had a total number of 74 pre-registered attendants, most from Europe, North America and Latin America/Caribbean regions. There are a set of numbers related to pre-registration here: giganet%202010%20-%20numbers.pdf

I was very glad to serve GigaNet Program Committee for the past 2 years and I wish the new Chair a lot of happiness for the next years ahead.

Last, but not least, I want to thank you all GigaNet members that voluntereed for the 2009 and 2010 Program Committees. Nothing would have happened without you. And I would like to say a special thanks to Milton Mueller who made the difference by mentoring all PC activities, besides his position as GigaNet Chair.
